Baptists for Biblical Values is a Christ-centered and Biblically-based effort to impact states for Jesus Christ. Our goal is to connect the people of God to the people of government.

We look to scriptures like 1 Timothy 2:1-4, which says, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

Mission

Education

  • Baptists for Biblical Values is committed to teaching that Government is ordained of God and that the local New Testament Church has a role to play in it.

  • Baptists for Biblical Values seeks to educate and inform all independent Baptists about positive and negative legislation and how they can be involved.

  • Baptists for Biblical Values is devoted to training pastors and churches about their civic liberties and how impact their community for the cause of Christ.

Engagement

  • Baptists for Biblical Values strives to equip pastors to respectfully and effectively communicate with legislators about political issues and most importantly spiritual issues.

  • Baptists for Biblical Values works to connect all independent Baptists to actively participate in political processes such as voter registration, bill tracking, communicating with legislators, and even running for various offices.

Encouragement

  • Baptists for Biblical Values works to encourage pastors, churches, and Christians to pray for their government leaders as commanded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

  • Baptists for Biblical Values is dedicated to encouraging our local, state, and national leaders by prayer, ministering of the Word, and consistent communication.
